RA-57-104Ceremonial or technical object; function unresolved
The Bow of Ra
A gilt elongated object received by Ravensworth in 1957 in a cedar transit case lacking a reliable chain of custody. The name “The Bow of Ra” appears in early accession material but has never been reconciled with the object’s original inventory description. Current cataloging retains the title as a convenience while questions of orientation, provenance, and original function remain under review.
